Solveig Dahle Smith

Qualified as a physiotherapist in 1977 from Aberdeen Hospitals School of Physiotherapy (now Robert Gordon’s University).

Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP) and registered with the Health Professions Council (HPC). Member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MAACP) and the APPI (MAPPI)

Since 1988 I have worked exclusively as a senior musculoskeletal physiotherapist in the National Health Service. I have completed many post-graduate courses including acupuncture, women’s health, spinal therapies & problem solving, soft tissue therapies, biomechanics and ergonomics.

In 2002 I started my training with APPI and since then I have incorporated this into my clinical practice. I keep expanding my skills and knowledge within the field of Pilates by continuing my professional development with APPI as a Certified Pilates Instructor.
